Report lodged against Broadcasting DG

The Penang government lodged a police report on Tuesday against the Director-General of Broadcasting Datuk Ibrahim Yahya for allegedly posting a libellous article in his blog recently.

The report, based on an article entitled ‘Somebody Wants to Jail Me’ in Ibrahim’s blog http://duniatiger.blogspot.com on Saturday, was lodged by Ng Wei Aik, the political secretary to the chief minister.

就广播局总监部落格文章 · 黄伟益报案

槟州首长政治秘书黄伟益州议员，针对国家广播局总监拿督依布拉欣在部落格发表一则“有人想要我入狱”文章，向警方报案。

他说，这文章于12月16日，在部落格“http://duniatiger.blogspot.com”发表，文中指一名来自槟州首长办公室的职员，要把拿督依布拉欣送入狱；为此，他指这是无中生有的言论，并挑战依布拉欣指名道姓公布这名职员的身份。

他披露，行动党没有权利把任何人送入监狱，假如是槟州首长的职员有发表这谈话，首长林冠英也将会采取对付行动。
